DOES YOUR CHILD HAVE ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER?

An estimated 3 to 5 percent of all children have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Research suggests that early diagnosis and intervention can go a long way toward improving these children's academic performance, socialization skills, self-esteem, and success later in life. The following quiz is designed to help you decide whether your child may have a tendency toward ADHD. If you are concerned, it is important to consult a school psychologist or pediatrician who is qualified to make a definitive diagnosis and rule out other possible causes of ADHD-like behavior.
